New TasNetworks Partnership

We are excited to announce a new founding partnership with TasNetworks, who will be supporting the Tasmania Wildlife Hospital in expanding our capabilities to deliver critical wildlife treatment and rehabilitation support in our region.

With a committed investment over the next three years TasNetworks will be specifically helping our hospital to advance our Raptor Recovery Program with funding for the construction of several essential aviary facilities.

The Tasmania Wildlife Hospital is grateful for TasNetworks' commitment and investment in our mission. The significance of this partnership extends beyond funding aviary facilities. It enables our Hospital to establish a unified program to support sick or injured raptor species from within one centralised facility – encompassing veterinary treatment, critical care, rehabilitation, and research with the ultimate aim of supporting the region's wildlife rehabilitation network and providing best practice care for Tasmania’s raptor species

The strategic partnership is a crucial element of TasNetworks' Threatened Bird Strategy, an initiative aimed at bolstering statewide raptor care and rehabilitation capabilities.
